New Product Development

To keep pace with a growing but dynamic aftermarket, new product development is a constant process our company undertakes so as to be up to date & relevant in today’s fast paced global aftermarket.

In the engine spare parts aftermarket more so, as we export over 60 countries – some developed, developing & even under developed ones. Each market differs from the other and this is where NPD requires in depth study of each country’s aftermarket & their requirements. After the initial survey, a screening process follows after which we procure samples to develop parts that will be needed in that market.

A central aspect of NPD is product design – keeping in mind the chemical composition to the technical specifications of our samples to create products that are stable & robust. We aim to do this is accurately as possible – comparable to that of the OEM.

This is possible through our design & development team’s efforts. We have over 20,000 drawings with a dedicated department working on this full time. Its execution is facilitated through our machining division & vast network of affiliations & associations. Our In-house machining facility is equipped with high-end CNCs, VMCs and SPMs to supply precision machined components. We also have a state-of-the-art quality control lab that is up-to date with inspection and testing tools and equipment.

Atrac’s outlook and vision is to constantly keep adding new products to our existing portfolio and to keep increasing our range. We even work with specialized needs of our customers by developing products as per their requirements.
